Icon17 Help indentify 1930-1950 vintage Rolex

Good morning everyone,

I’m not very knowledgeable on vintage models, so I was hoping someone could provide any information on this watch....All I know about it is that it is a 17 jewel movement stamped by Rolex. There is no serial number that I was able to see. I had it looked at by a reputable local jeweler, he believe it is authentic the only thing throwing him off was the no serial number. After some research I found that there are certain models in certain years that don’t have a serial number.

Any chance you could post a picture of the watch?

The printing on the dial is clearly not original, so one would need to see the inside to authenticate the watch.

Just a ladies cocktail watch. Probably wont have a serial number on it. The dial is repainted and a badly done job at that. The value will be in the precious metal content of the case and not much more since watches this small haven't been in trend for probably 40 years +. The bracelet is modern and has no value.

Most likely it is 9ct gold and as small as it is, there wont be much value in the melt. You can open up the case and there should be some marks inside under the movement indicating its gold content.

EDIT, it looks like electroplate after looking at the pics posted and after closer examination of the case. The case isnt solid gold.

These are the types of watches that people melt down the case and turn the movements into cuff links.
