back to the 5711 blue...

do you guys any respected dealer offering a new 5711 with papers below $100K... i feel the more i wait, the more this gets crazier.

let me know if you guys know, because me experience with many of the ones posted below $100K that i tried over the past 3 weeks is that they really dont have it... they are just advertising something they dont have.

Dealers are going to take a pretty large margin, why not post a WTB.

Buying a preowned Nautilus is a tricky business. Many dealers (some with a great reputation no less) advertise Nautilus as "like new" or similar when in fact they have been polished for the sale, some of them quite a lot too (after all they are scratch and ding magnets). It works for the dealers as people who have neither owned nor scrutinized a new one may not notice the difference. But if you know what to look for you can't unsee it...

Davidsw has one from 17' a little under 100k. European Watch Co had a few last time I looked, but I don't recall the details. They're around, maybe lightly worn.

OP picked a helluva forum name, s/he doesn't sound like much of a collector to me.

A "collector" would search far and wide and buy from a private party, not some Grey dealer no matter how they're pimped here.

Probably would look at some other enthusiast sites where someone wouldn't try to gouge you.

I bought and sold many watches worldwide from posters on Timezone and Watch Pro Site, references are easy to get.

The hunt isn't always quick, but You'll feel much better and stay below 6 figures.
