Patek 2021 novelties ~7 hours to go.

1. Really hoping for a steel classic round strap watch with an annual calendar for a calfskin strap.

2. Expecting the new 26-330 in a 40mm calatrava, the theoretical 6296, but hoping they can make a version that is more casual (e.g. some brushing on case). Perhaps a colored dial with a matching date disk.)

3. Maybe a white gold 5167

Hopefully several new Calatravas - two hand time only, time with seconds, time with seconds and date.

Definitely there will be a new movement. Most likely a basic one, hand wound.

+1 to the 570 and new calatravas hopes. It feels like this has been ages in the making and I feel like Patek needs to do a better job with the non aquanaut non nautilus for all of us who prefer traditional watches but want them well executed.

I'm looking forward to it. Today's news just might define my next purchase (either a Patek Calatrava or a Lange Saxonia).

Oh and please please please give us simple minimalist Calatrava pieces.

I turned down the 6007A last year as it was just too busy for me - 2 railroad tracks + minute indicator + 5-10-15-20 numbering + 1-2-3-4 number + date + the triangles in the inner railroad track + chess board in the middle rotated at 45 degrees..... just too much!

I hope for a new Calatrava - I am seriously considering Saxonia thin instead of 5196g, esp. since you can get it easily at -30, -40% discount brand new. I would prefer to stay with Patek though. I would so go for 5196p, but I cannot get out of my head how small the movement is compared to the case.

If they re-do the Calatrava I dread the increase in price, the base model is 21 400 EUR now, compare that to Saxonia Thin at 17 300 EUR (and probably less with discount). People thought Covid will slow the price increase from luxury brands lol.

The 5146 was discontinued I believe? Therefore I expect to see a replacement on similar terms in the AC collection.

How do I access the presentation please?

A perfect combination of watches I don't want and watches I can't get. How do they do it?

Which one can't you get? I doubt if you put your name down for AC or a Calatrava you would have to wait more than 1-2 years.

Interesting to see two new movements introduced this year. Patek R&D has been busy!

New releases

It’s 1400 hours Geneva Time. Patek have announced their new releases:

Can’t view the presentation, however:
A Perpetual calendar has been unveiled: The 5236P

The Calatrava line gets two additions: Cloud De Paris 6119R & 6119G

A Ladies Calatrava ref 4997/200G

A new Annual Calendar ref 4947/1A

Green dial Nautilus. I don't want any of today's releases, closest would be the steel AC. If it were a three hand or a chronograph I would want it.

Very much near perfect, although the combination of the 'clous de Paris' and the railroad seconds track appears relatively busy at first sight.

I would love to see one in person in order to judge, but I'm still curious about the price.

Calatrava - 25k EUR
AC - 42k EUR
