Yes, it is as I feared - new model but they used that to bump the price by 4 400 EUR. MSRP in France for Saxonia is 17 300 EUR.

I like the Saxonia Thin a lot in pics but on my 6.6 inch wrist even the smaller 37mm one looks empty and not very inspiring. Definitely looking forward to try on that new Calatrava.

The 5236P at first glance reminds me of the 5235 in a good way.
I’m relieved when viewing the introduction page the price requires a click to view Otherwise, my wife’s BP would be through the roof Edit: she’s sitting opposite me, hinting at (more) home improvements. She’s aware of the new Patek releases but not the prices |

These new models look very feminine and trendy (the satin finish) vs classic. Is it me?
The 5236p is my favorite and is amazing but why this finish? It would be perfect a woman watch, not sure for a man watch. Maybe it must be seen in person. +1 for the power reserve increase. |

Patek just knocking it out of the park with all their releases so far, making fools out of AP and their disastrous BP monstrosity. Glad to see that you can still have great success in this industry sticking to your roots instead of always trying to be the coolest kid on the block.

The lug-to-lug of the 5326P is not overly big at 48.6mm despite the 41.3mm diameter. It also has a lug spacing of 20mm. In the press release, Patek also stated that the case is inspired by the 5235 regulator. This watch will be a hit in my view.

And the 5235 case was in turn inspired by legendary 3448

The 5236P has an interesting movement, especially the date wheels. US price is ~ $130k.
US price for the new Calatrava is ~ $30k. |

As someone who doesn't own any Pateks, the 6119 called to me immediately and the only Calatrava I really liked prior to the 6119's launch was the 5134 with Breguet numerals, which I think is only a Calatrava by case design. Big question is VC Historiques American 1921 or the new 6119R? |

I like the 5236p but all I can see is the Code 11:59 in it...I'll have to keep looking at it!

Any wrist shots up? Like to see the AC's double vertical horizontal satin finish dial properly. Also hope it comes with a strap.

So I guess I missed the presentation, my email said to look out for an invite at 18:00 CET. I thought that was 17:00 here in the UK, although I never got the 2nd invite email. A bit disappointed with Patek right now.

There was no email invitation for 2 pm. They announced the event on their website as well as on Instagram.

Yes, there is definitely a Seamaster thing going on there, but that's not a bad thing, it's a nice bracelet.
I phoned my AD for this and asked if I could get one, but he said he doesn't know very much at this stage and couldn't tell me if it will be easily available in the case like a Calatrava or whether it's anticipated to be in demand and order only. I like it though, it's like the lovechild of a Seamaster and a 5740/1G. |
