116610 Insurance question
I have an early 116610 that has been a faithful companion over the years. I was just checking my policy at Jewelers Mutual and it is currently insured for $10,800. If I have an new appraisal done and it comes back higher will they make the adjustment or will they stick to what appears to be current MSRP? I appreciate the insight.

Leave JM and go to Hodinkee. I did and love the ease of use and you don't need an appraisal. Chubb underwrites it.

I purchased a DJ36 last month from an AD for MSRP @ 8900 and they provided an appraisal at 10,950. Your watch should be insured at current value. Good luck!

If you have a written appraisal, JM will gladly increase the insured amount.
