Thanks!! Curious as to why the watches are special? Sentimental, uniqueness?

For me in the end all my watches were expendable. The ones I liked the most ended up staying however almost as if providence intervened.
Well, I have to preface this by saying that I have taken a long time to select each piece that is currently in the collection, I like every one of them a lot and I'm very particular about condition, which leads me to only purchase new or strictly mint pieces.

Having said that, many of the watches in my collection are models that are either out of production or long gone LEs, which means replacing them would entail purchasing used pieces or paying a premium. I wouldn't want to do any of those.

Moreover, I really enjoy the variety. My current collection consists of 9 watches spread among 6 brands (4 being Rolex and the others AP, Omega, Panerai, IWC and Breitling), and I feel I would miss changing things up if I consolidated into three, even if they were monster watches.

This is my current line of thought, but I do admit that sometimes I entertain the idea of just going for the 'grails' and not looking back.
