Second Hand Gear Slack - Normal?
Hi all,
I was adjusting my watch tonight and noticed potential second hand gear slack? I typically adjust the time forward by turning the crown counterclockwise. I went past the current time, so I turned it clockwise to go back an hour. That's when I noticed the second hand tends to move a bit when going backwards. Is this considered normal? I have a feeling it is, but wanted to confirm for curiosity sake. I've honestly never noticed until tonight. Excuse the dry hands, it's from this dang cold front! https://imgur.com/a/zV8dB3W |

Hi J,
Normal. But. Try winding it up before setting it. This will stop the second hand from running backwards and makes setting the time easier.
