Thoughts on DSOTM as 3rd watch?
I have been considering picking one of these up to test out as there is one for sale in country at what seems to be a good price. I currently have a BLNR and D blue and am considering adding the hulk (116610lv) or a chronograph as a 3rd. The ceramic daytona will be a long wait list (over 1 yr). What do you think of the DSOTM as a tester? I enjoy its looks. What would you consider a good price where I would not loose much money if I decide its not for me? The example I am looking at is around $9000 Canadian dollars ($6800us).

Quite honestly it's a great watch at least equal to the ceramic Daytona. A real bargain at that price.

It's a fantastic watch that I thoroughly enjoy wearing and have never regretted purchasing. At ~ $6800usd, if it includes B/P and warranty, is a great price and doubtful you would lose much on the flip.
One side note: The pic looks like it has the older tang buckle and not the deployant? If so, I highly recommend going for a model with the deployant, it's fantastic! Conversely, you could attempt to bargain the seller down a bit more due to this one having the less sought after tang buckle. |

Love the DSOTM, great looking watch and 6800 seems about right. Definitely try for the deployant.
Any concerns regarding an all ceramic case? I've read a couple stories about folks that have dropped them. That's the only reason I haven't pulled the trigger on one yet. |

It is a rather good looking piece, but a tad too thick IMO. I wonder how easy the are to move if you want to sell it?

I think one would fit nicely into your collection, Josh Total opposite of your other two watches and that can only be refreshing when the others are on the wrist. This should keep you until you're able to get your hands on the ceramic Daytona!

I love the look of this watch, and have been contemplating it for months now. The 16.5mm thickness does make me wary though. The only complaint about my FF complete calendar was its thickness, which was about the same.
