Not my favorite. The hands and the dial do not work well together in my opinion.

Classy, it looks very nice. However, a textured dial on a Seamaster should be horizontal waves, IMO.

I like it If you're considering this piece chances are you won't regret it. Elegance but has that wrist presence I'm fond of.

It comes in a little smaller than your preferred size (at 41.5mm) but the Speedmaster '57 ref# 331.12.42.51.02.002 is quite good looking with great wrist presence. There is also the DSOTM Vintage Black at 44.25mm. Lastly, the Speedy Moonphase Master Co-axial line will be showing up within the next month. They have a stunning steel and Sedna gold version with a deep chocolate brown dial and strap. These are also 44.25mm. I've placed an order with my AD for the black dial version and he said it will arrive in November.

That borderless date was a terrible design change.

That is the SS and Sedna Gold Speedmaster Moonphase Master Co-axial version I had described earlier. There is also a full Sedna gold version too.

I think the balance of the hands and dial were pretty neat, even on the leather strap.

Excellent choice! It was down to this or the all black version for me. I ended up ordering the black as I do not wear a lot of browns to match.

I'm looking forward to both my incoming as well as picks of yours!

Saw the price on this. Just too expensive for me at the time. Just bought me a Rolex
