Question reg. strap on Planet Ocean 600M
I have a Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M 42mm with the original rubber strap.
1.jpg Has anyone any experience when it comes to adding an extra hole to the strap? Is this something that can be done by the Omega service center? I'm sorry, but I don't have much experience when it comes to Omega (this is the only watch I own from them). Also, if there's a good velcro strap out there that fits this model, please do let me know. The reason for me asking this, is that my wife asked me yesterday if she could borrow this watch from time to time. Of course she can, but I think we need to find a solution to tighten the strap a bit first. The watch, IMHO, looks a bit to big on her wrist. But she says she likes it, and that's all that matters in the end. Any help here would be much appreciated. Cheers, Joe

I would imagine a good leather hole punch would do the trick.

Yeah, that was my first thought as well. Maybe it's not such a bad idea after all. I'll swing by one of the shoe repair stalls. Those old guys definitely know there stuff!
I saw on the Omega site that they have some really nice official ones. The one in leather is gorgeous (though haven't seen it "live"...). I'm just afraid that the nato will make the watch look/sit even taller on her smallish wrist. But yeah, it's definitely an idea worth throwing around. I have a couple of natos, so could try with those first to see how it looks. Cheers, Joe
