Love the thread, the ladies here have great taste Some of my favorites...
crème de la crème... awesone photo... My favorite lady's model... EXCELLENT macro shot... Another beauty... I'm not normally into watches with "ice", certainly not for me and not even for the ladies; But if I were, this would be "the one"... Traveller - Genève * Melbourne * Miami * Wien |

Great posting ladies - I'll contribute close up of my wife's first Rolex
One week after she got it - loves it and shows off her wedding and anniversary rings. Lady DateJust 26 mm, two tone Jubilee, fluted and silver dial with index markers. I'm amazed at how great it looks on her, given her 5.5 inch wrists.

Looking great ladies. The rings are just as beautiful as the watches.

My oldest daughter with her SS and WG Datejust. (It used to be mine until I let her wear it one weekend and never got it back.) Holding my three month-old grandson with his new hockey stick. (His dad coaches a Division 1 college team.)

Lovely watches, I am a big fan of seeing a men sized watch on a girl sized wrist, a little tom boyish, but also shows off the inherent delicacy of the girl. :)

Hi ladies, i currently have the ladies oyster perpetual, but find it too small. I've seen some of the pics here of the 36mm and 40mm Yachtmaster i'm considering and would love any opinions. The 40mm seems more widely available- do you think it looks significantly bigger than the 36mm? I love bigger chunkier watches but am having a tough time deciding. probably should go try them on at the boutique :p

If you love bigger chunkier watches, then you will have to go with the 40mm. Side by side, the 40mm does look noticeably larger.

I was comparing the midsize YM with the 40mm. I may have to go try them on. I feel like my Ladies sized OP looks so small on me, but have also read that some women find the 40mm a bit uncomfortable. The midsize seems like it might be a good option. Anyone with a 40mm here have any thoughts?

I'd really recommend that you visit a dealer and try both the 35mm mid-size YM and the 40mm men's size YM. Do this several times before making a final decision. Then come back and post pics for us! |

Yeah, I know it isn't an Rolex, but it's vintage :-)

I really like both of those. It seems we have similar tastes. http://www.rolexforums.com/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

By the way, my Tudor Lady Sub measures 26mm without the crown so you can see it is pretty centered on my wrist. My wrist, in my opinion, is boney and large (6.5). I prefer the smaller faced watches because I like a watch face "centered" on my wrist not over powering it. But, that's just me. I could live happily ever after with just a bunch of old vintage watches but just recently bought the Tudor Lady Sub for variety in my collection. I don't LOVE it as much as I do my vintage watches but it is growing on me for when I wear a business suit.

Thank you so much. With my watches I really learned how to adore something eventhough it can not adore me back.
