Best Belgian beer I've ever had. The smell of Belgian beers usually turns me off but this one is exceptional.

It's good but living in mass there's a lot better nearby

Still the reputation RR has is well deserved.

Went to an event at a local Brewery. Had a great time drinking with the brewmaster and sampling a few one offs. Fun night.

I actually passed on the Focal lol sounds crazy but I had way more beer than I needed and most of my friends don’t even drink doubles.

I had never had crusher but sampled it at the brewery side by side with Focal and I honestly like crusher better than Focal or heady.

As you can see, SoS is easily my favorite.

I also had several Hill Farmstead on draft while there and that was good too but I’m not sure I understand the hype. Not enough for me to make the hour drive northeast from stowe anyways.

Treehouse and trillium are my short list for next beer adventure Marc! Jealous of your access to so much good stuff

Hill Farmstead makes the best beer in the Northeast, maybe the country, I really believe that. Stylistically they make farmhouse-ales in the Belgian tradition with an American twist. That is small batch saisons that are a touch sour, but when fresh they are like nothing else. They also make some pretty special sour ales and a few IPA's and all are just really great great expressions IMHO. I realize not everyone is down with sours or Farmhouse styles but try their IPA's, if you can find them (really hard to get), and you might understand the hype, really great stuff.

I had dharma bum, works of love, Edward and Of first and last things. All on draft at pro pig or blackback in Waterbury this weekend.

I'll admit I didn't get the chance to try any of their saisons or sours which seems to be their primary focus. Maybe next time I'll make the trek up to the NE kingdom and make further observations

This is the best beer I have ever had, and blonde triples aren't even my favorite.

On tap at Staminee De Garre in Bruges Belgium.

Ever one is ever in Bruges, I highly recommend that you find this bar. The bar is several hundred years old. I'm pretty sure you can only find this beer on tap at this bar.

There is a sign hanging from the bar that says "for your health, limit of three".
