For sale is a pre-owned near mint condition 36mm 18 karat yellow gold and stainless steel Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Day Date “Owl”. The 25572SA.OO.0789SA.01 is a C serial, circa 1983 production, and is fresh from factory service with a two-year international guarantee on the work performed. While at factory service the AP received a complete movement overhaul, which included a change of caliber. The Royal Oak is accompanied by an international factory service guarantee card, and a paperwork detailing the work performed at service. The AP features a brushed steel case, which is accented by a fixed octagonal 18 karat yellow gold bezel that is secured to the case via eight white gold screws. The Royal Oak is mounted on a brushed steel and yellow gold integrated bracelet, which is secured by a hidden safety lock deployment clasp. The bracelet contains 22 full size links and will comfortably fit a 7.25-inch wrist. The AP features a light gray tapisserie dial with applied yellow gold stick hour markers, polished gold hands, a date sub dial register at 3 o’clock, and a day sub dial register at 9 o’clock. Overall, the AP is in near mint condition and has been preserved extremely well and contains crisp brush lines and chamfers, with the only signs of previous wear being some faint surface level hairline scratches.
