First vintage grand seiko

I’m waiting for this great horological time piece. Just purchased watch anyone would know how to fix linen dial if possible without replacing. I been looking for a Vintage Grand Seiko and I’m looking forward to wearing and appreciating the research to perfect these beautiful Japanese movements.

I've had a couple of these over the years. Looks like a fair bit of oil coming through from the movement to the dial edges. Not sure if that will clean up, but I would be interested to see the condition of the movement. Case looks like it could use a refinish too, with the right brush/polish combo on the "origami turtle" case (never heard it called a "double katana" before).

Congratulations, Joseph! It's the best feeling when the bidding ends and you were able to secure the item. Nice vintage piece and I hope you'll have it on your wrist soon.
