I currently have a 14060m Non-COSC:

I just recently sold my Baume & Mercier Classima and came up on some cash. I was originally going to add around $400 to buy the Longines Moonphase I always wanted:

But now, I saw a great deal from a trusted dealer. He is willing to accept my trade plus more cash (around $3k or so) for a BNIB GMTIIC.

What should I do? Do I just have 1 Rolex or keep the sub and get a watch I was eying before I bought the sub? The reason I still wanted the Longines was cuz I can wear it with brown shoes or whatever.

Help me decide? Thanks!

I did that exact thing..I had the 14060 M that was COSC but now that I have the GMTIIC I hav enever looked back..

I'd recommend going for the moonphase.
It's a beautiful watch and your heart is set on it.
The GMTIIc can come later.

The Longines first if that's a major consideration for you. A GMTc is easy to get later. Of the two though I would vote for the IIc.

I'd keep the 14060...its my favorite of all the watches you mentioned. There's no shortage of GMT2c's floating around these days.

Seriously, the IIC is a great watch, and is super comfortable. You'll love the solid bracelet...great upgrade, as is the 1/3 link expansion.

I'd do that if I could as well but since you ask I believe you don't really have the choice so I'm going to say this: I'd buy the Longines and then trade the Sub+add some cash for the GMT. Personally I'd get a GMT over any Submariner but I think that Chronograph looks way too good to let it pass so I wouldn't forget about it!

I would say gmt on this one. Sub no date is classic but if i was in your shoes i would go gmt on this one. Good luck!

Absolutely! GMT-IIc is a definite "upgrade" on the 14060.

The Submariner was designed for diving underwater. The GMC was designed for world travelling. Two watches with different intended uses.
I do not consider the GMC and upgrade from the Submariner.

I had the Sub 14060M a while ago. Mine was a 4 liner but still a great watch. Iconic it is. The only reason I sold it was because I had a hard time accepting the bracelet on such a high value watch.
So now I have the GMT 2c. Bracelet way way better. I prefer the maxi dial and the bezel is a joy to use compared to the Sub.
Though I'm not a cyclops fan but than can be fixed.
The clean lines of the Sub you have are fantastic. It really is a great looking watch.
The GMTc actually feels like an expensive watch. The quality is a serious step up over the 14060M .
That said $3000 to change doesn't sound like a great deal. Over here in the UK the 14060M sell for £2600 + and there not getting any cheaper.
