the strap switch is recommended
even though the rally strap is very nice (robust leather, and it seems its rubber filled, providing a very comfortable feel), it distracts from the dial, which is the main event
the corodovan #8 elevates the looks to more dressy and adds a vintage flair
highly recommend it

The black definitely gets more attention.

If you want one pick whichever appeals to you best. Can’t go wrong either way.
Thanks for the comparison shot! Just out of curiosity, is the bezel lumed on the pulsometer like it is on the 2016's tachymetre?

no lume on the bezel as it is enamel inlay
only for the hands and hour markers

it is a beauty indeed! very symmetrical in its layout. Color contrast creates a very pleasing look. Can dress up or down.
The size will wear small if you are used to wearing ceramic SS rolex so if oyu get a chance to try out itself or its variatns, would recommend it
very dressy and plays well with others as part of a bigger watch collection
wish it was cheaper but if you need it you need it

Very nice watch. I was ready to pull the trigger ON a zenith el primero, good thing it was already sold by the time I inquired from a seller. Time to re-assess these 2 good choices.
Btw, How much is the msrp is it USD5,850 or USD6+++? I saw one of the grey dealer selling it for USD9,875.

Thanks. Already waitlisted in my country’s local ad. My local ad did not quote a price though. But if I can’t wait, which is often, I might just impulse buy from some online grey dealer.

Here in the Uk RRP is £4,320 I picked up one but prefer the previous version so moving mine on dealers here have them at £5,200-£5,400 but not £7,477 ($9,875)
