Description:

This is the IWC Cal 853. A quintessential dress watch, the IWC Cal 853 shares many similar characteristics to the more famous hand-wound Cal 89. This dress watch is minimalistic yet luxurious, with a beautiful dial that has aged from white into a light cream colour. IWC has been around since 1868 and are renowned for their quality and robustness, especially in the field of aviation watches. It features the in-house Cal 853, designed by Albert Pellaton, a reliable and robust movement that was developed in the 1950s that isolates the gear train from undue stress.
