First thanks to mike t for doing an awesome deal, first PM piece for me. I know a lot think the 36 is small but I like it, super heavy for someone who has only owned SS in the past. I actually like how the bracelet is showcased a bit on the top of the wrist. Larger cases leave a divot in the top of my hand too which I am not fond of for an everyday watch.

Anyways I wanted a DD forever and I totally stopped drinking any booze for 6 months along with my company finally really hitting its stride 5 years in I felt it was time. Oddly enough i also found out my dad has cancer yesterday, the dual meaning of precious time.

Anyways I was wondering do all the DD have the same width bracelets?

Some pics

It’s the only watch which I enjoy looking at the underside of my wrist as much as the top.

I’m so spoiled by the glide lock, I do have to get used to all that weight basic forcing its will on my wrist!

I think so, at least for these crown/hidden clasp bracelets offered on 36mm DDs since the early 70s - All 20mm end links, graduated down to 16mm at the clasp. Idk about DD2s and DD40s.

And, huge congrats!

I'm used to see an SS watch on your tattooed wrist so I need some time to adapt to a 36mm Gold one:-)
Nice gaz, is this a WOLF?

It's a beautiful watch. It's dense and heavy, so I think the 36 mm DD still wears with a lot of presence. Glad you're in a good place and I hope your dad will be okay. Congrats!

Congrats and for what it’s worth, 36 is well balanced and plenty noticeable and legible at that size. Wear in good health.

It is so refreshing to hear someone realize the flow of the watch with the bracelet showing. Big watches are top heavy for most people and the spectacular President bracelet is lost. Great looking on you. Hope your dad does well.

I love white dials. I picked champagne this time, but I ***LOVE*** white dials on a Rolex.

All of them.

DD40 bracelets are wider. 21mm at the lugs and 18mm at the clasp.
