Ceramic PM Daytona

How likely is it to expect to see a Ceramic Bezel on a PM Daytona at the upcoming Basel???

I feel like if Rolex will do it they will do all of them. 116508 is fairly new, but 05 and 09 not updated in a while other than dial options.

On the other hand, the precious metal bezel makes them more luxurious in my opinion. I’d like to leave them as is!

I'd say 50/50.

I'm pretty confident about that.

How confident?

I'd say 50/50.

Hope that helps!

Oysterflex pm Daytonas have the ceramic bezel, and it goes with the more sporty look of the rubber strap very well. I kinda have a feeling though that they will leave the full pm as is with its current bezel

I really have to learn to be more specific before hitting submit! It's the white gold oyster I'm envisioning!

I don't see the whole PM line going to ceramic. I guess they could offer certain dials on PM with ceramic bezel and other dials with the PM bezel but that seems rather a messy scheme for their offerings.
Myself, I would love to see a PM Daytona Kit that included both the oyster and OF. I'd pay handsomely for this package. Of course it makes no sense because now you buy two watches if you want to have both styles.

OG,
I read earlier that technically, swapping Oyster and OF can be done by changing out the edit: endlinks(lugs).

Has anyone done this, I don't know.

Are you referring to changing endlinks ? The lugs are integral to the case.

I don't know either. I've seen plenty OF put on SS but don't recall OF being put on a PM Daytona.

Ceramic PM Daytona

It’s NOT possible to change out the OF of PM ceramic Daytona to PM bracelet, cos the end link is integrated into the case.
Do a search, there’s a few threads explaining it. I think I’ve seen 2 members here did but it was SS C500 with the silver dial swap, to get the look.

Until there the event happens and until you click a link to see what released...

- 100% Rolex releases a Ceramic PM Daytona
- 100% Rolex does not release a Ceramic PM Daytona

Count me in. White gold Daytona with oyster and OF and a quick release mechanism a la VC overseas. While we are at it, user swappable gold and ceramic bezels in the box too.

I'll go against the grain. I don't think it's likely at all.

As a matter of fact, Rolex has made it pretty clear which models they intend to put the ceramic bezel on.

I wouldn't sit around expecting anything from Rolex. Just my two cents...

You can order end links for $90 and the oysterflex bracelet for approx $550. They will fit a 116500 no problem!
