I took the oyster bracelet with PCL's off my 116710 BLNR on day 1, and have been wearing it on the bracelet off my 16610LV instead. Much prefer the look.

Now here's controversy - I did the reverse swap the other day, and mounted the BLNR bracelet to the kermit :))

Looks very nice. Will an AD let you buy an extra bracelet and do the swap or is there regulations from Rolex about this.

You have bastardised nothing. This is how the GMT should be. Rolex did the bastardization with the PCL.

No bastardisation there.

Initially Jubilee wasn't for me so swapped it out for a 72600 oyster with polished links. 2 weeks later, missed the jubilee and now much prefer it. It's always nice to have an option though.

Not true, the Oyster is the original. The Jubilee was an option much later and has only ever been sold in much smaller numbers than GMTs with the Oyster.

The Oyster looks much better than the Jubilee which to my eyes does not suit this style of watch at all.

There is no reason for Rolex to not offer both so people can choose. (Other than their stubborn refusal to give people what they want).

I’m sure this will trigger the purists, but this was my plan from day one (I would still have done this if I had a 116710 to gain the glide lock and lose the PCLs). I love the jubilee and have to admit it’s a bit more comfortable, but the stealth look of the oyster fits my current lifestyle a little bit better.

I prefer BLNR 2.0 on a jubilee but that looks really sharp. I especially like the brushed oyster if you are going to be wearing the watch during sports. Nice job.

In the minority here, I really like the PCL's on the GMT but to each is own. Wear it well.

I tried to get one today for my root beer and was told that I had to give the root beer band in exchange...no deal from me.

Looks like I need to talk to DSW to source one
