Tudor Submariner 79190 Check Request

First time posting here.

I'm looking to purchase a Tudor Submariner Ref. 79190 and I saw this one in fairly pristine condition. However, I wanted to post it to see if anyone with more seasoned eyes could point out everything right (or wrong) about this watch.

A few things I noticed off the bat was the crown and caseback. 79190's I usually see for sale have the rolex crown and caseback, yet this one has Tudor ones.

Tudor Submariner 79190 Check Request

Case back looks over polished. Original hands.

Case back different on mine as is the crown.
Tudor crown and case back doesn't read "...Original Oyster Case by Rolex Geneva...'.
Not sure about the crown guards either...buy that may be reflection from the polishing..

Ask them to open the back and get pictures of the movement and caseback inscription.

I have not seen this dial with fat shield applied markers and long T.

Probably correct, but needs confirmation from someone else.

Just compared to mine.

- the crown is clearly wrong
- the printing of the number 17 on the date window doesn’t look right.
- the thickness of the markers on the bezel seems different to mine.
- the bracelet, although not the originally supplied one, doesn’t have the correct markings of a Tudor hollow centre link bracelet.

Hope this helps.

May I suggest perusing the offerings of trusted sellers here, who will set you mind at ease and sell you a legitimate watch.
