Stop it.

It's like googling google. You're playing in dangerous matter/antimatter territory here.

I mean are Barbie Dolls made from real people named Barbie.???? Step away from your computer.

I figured you were joking, but for any who are wondering, petroleum and natural gas come from ancient plants. Any dinosaur remains in the mix are statistically insignificant.

Cleopatra was nearer to meeting you or me than seeing the completion of the Great Pyramid at Giza.

Also, the Great Pyramid, built 2,570 BCE (146m), was the tallest man-made structure in the world for 3,791 years, until the Old St Paul's Cathedral (149m) was built in London in 1221 CE.

And his rank is actually commander (O-5), as his SDBs (service dress blue uniform) has 3 gold bands. Captains, (O-6) have 4. Commanders can hold the title of "commanding officer," which may still be referred to as "captain," or colloquially "skipper."

The US Air Force Research Lab built a supercomputer called the Condor Cluster to analyze HD satellite imagery. The supercomputer is made up entirely of 1760 Playstation 3's. It's the 33rd most-powerful computer in the world.

Jim Jones didn't have his followers drink cyanide spiked Kool-Aid.

It was actually cyanide spiked Flavor Aid.

So remember to remind people not to drink the "my Rolex is an investment" Flavor Aid.

Howdy,

More people watched Elvis Presley's "Aloha From Hawaii" concert satellite broadcast on January 14, 1973 than watched the 1969 Apollo moon landing.

Take care,

Ruddiger

PS-It was not shown on TV in the US until months later because the Super Bowl also occurred on that same date.

Barcodes on every item indicate where the item originated from. The numbers 690-699 are from China. (Let's try to avoid them.)

USA-100-139 , with numbers from 0-99 as mainly compatible with the USA!

I believe something like 400 container ships leave China every week.

This is the biggest one yet....

https://money.cnn.com/2016/01/31/new...ina-container/

This shows the shipping traffic on the oceans, with something like 14 million containters circa 2012.

Cool links! I've actually seen your second one previously. Amazing

I do find it odd that a French Company, shipping from China mainly, names its ship the Benjamin Franklin.....

On the old TV series, 'The Lone Ranger', the mask the Ranger wore wasn't black, but purple, because in black and white, purple looked more like black than black did. An actual black mask was used in the final year of the series (56-57) which was filmed in color. At the time, however, the series was still being broadcast in black and white. ABC didn't start broadcasting in color until 1962.

Amazing.

And over 1000 containers fall off ships every year.

Your average person operating a smartphone is millions of times dumber than the Apollo 11 astronauts or those who designed those old guidance computers to go from earth to the moon.

That's why they need a smartphone GPS and map app to find their way across town.

The more effort you put into selecting your clothing, the more likely others will want to see you without your clothes.

Not much action today, so I'll add another.

According to scientists, 163,000 pints of Guinness are wasted in facial hair each year.

Between the years 1956 and 1976, actor James Arness appeared on screen as US Marshall Matt Dillon, and no one else. It was the only role he would play for 20 years.

Most people think plants and flowers are beautiful and encourage their growth.

But since plants cannot move to escape their predators, they have developed other means of protecting themselves from herbivorous animals.

Some plants have physical defenses such as thorns, spines and prickles, but by far the most common type of protection is chemical.

In fact the most poisonous substances on the planet for humans and animals usually come from plants.

From hemlock to nightshades and from ricin to foxglove they can all do you in.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_poisonous_plants

https://www.britannica.com/list/7-of...adliest-plants

Your spouse just taken up gardening have they bunky????........
