Shaggy's real name was Norville Rogers
(or at least as 'real' as a cartoon character's name can be)

It was always hard to get ketchup to flow out of the glass bottle, even after punting the bottom of the bottle with the palm of your hand. Many ketchup companies simply reinvented their bottle and developed squeeze bottles. But, Heinz 57 glass bottles were actually made for fast flowing ketchup. On the neck of each bottle was a the word Heinz 57 molded into the glass. If you tap the bottle with a knife in this exact spot, the ketchup will instantly start to flow.

In the Wizard of OZ, Dorothys screen worn red ruby slippers were actually closer to a light pink in color since deep red looked like black on black and white film. The only actual deep red ruby slippers were the ones she wore for premiers in public.

Beagles,
Lemon and White Beagles are a very light tan colour and white. They have no black on them. Their eyes will be dark. Their nose will be black. The difference between a lemon and white and a Tan and White Beagle is a Tan and White has blue, grey or green eyes and a brown nose. They may also be a little darker tan colour. |

An Australian man once tried to sell New Zealand on eBay, with a starting price of $0.01 (the price had risen to $3,000 before eBay closed the auction)

There's a famous steakhouse on Route 66 in Amarillo, Texas called the Big Texan (it's a fun spot to go). Their claim to fame is a 72oz steak which if consumed in under an hour - along with the salad, shrimp cocktail, baked potato, and roll - is free. Here's some stats:
- Almost 30,000 people have attempted to consume the free 72oz. steak (since 1960). - Nearly 4800 people have succeeded in eating the 72oz. steak (since 1960). - The oldest person to eat the steak was a 69-year-old grandmother the youngest, an 11-year old boy. - Frank Pastore, who was a professional pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds, ate the complete steak dinner in 9 and 1/2 minutes. - The current record holder is a female, Molly Schuyler, weighing in at 124 pounds. She ate not one, not two but three 72 oz. steaks in 20 minutes flat. Not only did she scarf down the steaks, but she also ate three baked potatoes, three side salads, three rolls and three shrimp cocktails. - The first one she consumed was gone in just 4 minutes and 18 seconds. |

White German shepherds haven’t been recognized as German Shepherds at the UKC since the Nazis had them removed in the 1930’s and have become entirely different breeds since. The German Shepherd dog with the recessive white gene has become three different “breeds”. The white German Shepherd (not recognized by the UKC), the white shepherd and the Berger Blanc Suisse. All were sired by GSD’s with the white recessive gene and then breed for different stance and temperament. In the 1970’s white German shepherds were sent to Switzerland and helped to sire the Berger Blanc Suisse line.
I have a Berger Blanc Suisse and he’s probably the best dog I’ve ever had. Incredible personality, loyal to a fault, adaptive and intelligent more than I’ve ever experienced with a dog. Swiss dogs and watches and they’re both incredible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
