My passport has not seen inaction like this since 1988 when I graduated from college. I am in need of an 8 hour flight!

I’m super annoyed they don’t add pages anymore. Renewed my passport last year and I’m about to run out of room.

Just looked it up and they no longer do it, you have to get a completely new passport! How DUMB! Was completely unaware this went into effect in 2016!

We were just approved by the Sri Lankan Embassy in Washington DC that we have been approved to travel back to "The Emerald Isle" on one of the government repatriation flights operated by SriLankan Airlines. Now we are on the approved to travel list and just waiting our turn. We will have to serve 14 days in a authorized hotel then a additional 14 days quarantine at our condo. All fired up to finally get out of here for the winter..

My horrible red, EU passport expired this year.
I'll replace it with a lovely blue, British Passport as soon as the current nastiness permits safe global travel.

Security? Mine shipped separately also. Eight weeks to the day from hand-in at the Post Office to return back to me.

I'm sure you're excited.

Sitting in Ohio in the winter for you now is probably like a cat experiencing snow for the first time. (Ewwww, lifting their feet gingerly through the white stuff).

I was back in Canada last February and marveled that people can live like that.

WHAT, NO PALM TREES!!!!!!

Yup. I had renewed my kids’ expired passports earlier this year for a high school graduation trip I had hoped to take to the Normandie beach. We got them passports years ago for a cruise. We made a passport processing appointment at our local library, which was pretty booked up. Even though my older child is an adult, both of his parents still had to go to the appointment because we he had held a kid’s passport. Apparently if he has never held a passport at 18 he just could have done it solo. Anyway, those were all Homeland Security rules. Unfortunately there are stories of international kidnappings by a parent, and the other parent never sees the child again, so I understand the need for the rule.

Unfortunately the photo taken by the local UPS store was slightly too small, so his passport renewal was rejected post-lockdown, so we had to get a new photo submitted. It all worked out except obviously we didn’t get to travel. I still have a couple of years left on mine.

Just re-upped mine, although I'm disappointed they don't add additional pages anymore. This new one might fill up faster than expected.

This is the first time in 12 years we have still been here at this time.! I had no idea that when we came back here 1st week of June that this would be still going on and shows how clueless I was... Now we are just trying to figure out their protocol for the 72 hours before PCR Testing and what one will be excepted...

It has a lot of mileage for sure to include being lost and found. I had way over a hundred pages full of stamps which these last couple years was a huge pita when customs agents are looking for my entry stamp.
Enjoyed our time together.
