Big night out …. What you grabbing ?

It’s been weeks since you’ve been out, but the day has finally arrived, its Saturday and you’re meeting up with lads for ‘ a few beers ‘ .
But you know, no man ever went out for a few beers, your friends are deviants, and it’s a midday meet because the game is on!

You think to yourself, this could easily be another 12 pint session and a belly lined with just a few chicken wings, because eating is cheating.

The last time you met up with these guys, you ended up at Spearmint Rhinos at 2am,
buying a round of 5 beers, 10 ‘ladies drinks’, a bottle of Grey Goose for the table, and then felt the need to show everyone your dance skills on the podium pole.

So for a big boys night out……which watch you grabbing ?

Going the Invicta route; more likely to keep me safe.

Guess I’m not as Kinky as you Mr. Bezel. No pole nights for me. But if I were in your shoes, I’d pick the BLNR.

Probably a Hamilton Khaki Field watch....with the night you hypothetically get into - I don't want to potentially damage a nicer watch in that.

My bluesy has been on a few day drinking trips that turned into long nights out with the boys.

No watch. If the night goes as you describe with and begins with 12 pints at midday and no food, I will either wake up the next morning without my watch, or it will almost certainly be covered with some nasty gashes which I have no recollection of. Especially if I decide to show everyone my dance skills...

I've certainly had a night or a hundred like that over the past few decades but I cant say that even once did I plan it out ahead of time like that.

Either the bluesy or the 116610ln. Need a balance of class and sportiness.

I've never done a day/nite out with the guys or a pub crawl.

It's too drink to you puke for me. OR Hangover Part 2.

I just cannot drink that much or want to be with people that do.

3 drinks and if I haven't found someone to drag home (back in the day) it's back to the barn for me.

The thought of doing it makes me nauseated lol.

But I’ll play along, id wear my Tag 2000 because it was my first automatic and this scenario reminds me of a something I’d do a long long long time ago

Nights like the ones you describe aren’t nearly as common as they were for me some years back but on those rare occasions I’m going out with possible excessive drinking on the menu the Sub stays home and the Victorinox Swiss Army joins the party.

I agree.

Mine was Merlin McFly's in Santa Monica CA.

Nothing before or since was a combination of the perfect Cheers bar, with a great band, table magicians and a clientele of movie people, writers, locals and tourists.
