They sell in Dollars in MÉXICO, but add VAT. That’s why prices are higher.

I think the only police increase we will see is a slight one when the new movements with longer power reserve come through.

So my investments went up in value!

I would have bet that there was an increase after Basel 2018. But thankfully there was not. Still I can’t help but think that one must be coming soon, or at least my AD still swears that one is coming

Don’t worry I don’t think you freaked anyone out. This is the third or fourth thread like the last couple months where someone travels to Mexico and think s there has been a price increase. Probably not the best way to title the thread though if you aren’t certain.

At least all my investments will be worth more!

Nothing to buy now, thanks

Price increase should be 30% at least across the board.

It should be! Until demand falls to the level of supply.

I would buy one. As long as the dial and hands are there, who needs a movement?

I've got an iphone and fitbit that can give me the time.

Investing and price increases...
It's like the floor on Wallstreet. Pretty soon someone is gonna fling themselves through a window from depression or stock shortages.

It's just a watch. Once upon a time people bought watches they actually liked...now they start threads to buy what others like or buy what gets the most likes on IG. Independent thought and expression is replaced by sm preference. Crazy times.

So far, I have only heard this in reference to the UK. As such, it would likely be a regional currency adjustment, not an across-the-board price increase. I will stand corrected if there is solid reporting of an imminent increase elsewhere, but as you're in London, you're only corroborating the other reports of an adjustment.

You're awarded bonus points for using your first post to revive an old thread that spread misinformation due to a technical misunderstanding, and adding to it with what is likely an over-generalization.

Well said, or starting a thread with "Which one will be worth more or have better resale" before making a purchase.
