The Rolex of Boats???
Very off topic!!! I took my unrestored 34-year-old Donzi out today (wearing a Deepsea). Like Rolex, they built this thing to last!

Real Miami Vice motif there.
But boats, like planes, the value is not in the haul, but the motors. |

They say the two best days of owning a boat are; "the day you buy it, and the day you sell it".

I have a boat too and enjoy it. There is another saying, "if it Flys, F.... KS, or Floats, you should rent it."

Love Donzis since my youth. Great boats; I was hoping it was going to have twin 210s!!! I was thinking it was going to be Chris Craft however!!

I remember those, rode in my friends once and magnum marines as well. Cool stuff.. Used to party at the Gar Wood mansion. Crazy parties there.

Great topic ! I just wrote the check last week for another Yellowfin CC. I’ve had a couple of them in the past but my last boat was a Grady White. Nothing but good things to say about the Grady but Yellowfin is a better fit for how I use a boat. Now comes the fun part, getting it rigged and ready for fall fishing!

I have some mates who race yachts.
They tell me it’s like standing in a cold shower tearing up $100 bills. Have had a few boats over the years but the time factor when organising a fishing trip is a killer. But there are compensations. These were plucked off the bottom at the weekend in Western Australia plus 10 kg of filleted fish in the freezer. Son A is cleaning them up for a feed. The boat is a Haines 565l. Not sure of the pusher but around 115.
