1932 Bubble Back?
I’ve got a friend since high school who currently lives in Vienna. He lost his dad when he was 13, (1973?). His dad left him this watch that he cherishes.
I’ve just begun my journey learning about Rolex, and automatic watches in general. I was talking to him yesterday and he sent me this picture. What do you guys think about it? I think it’s a wonderful legacy piece, and would appreciate any other tidbits of info. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hello,
hard life , with 13 years.... The watch is a stunning piece (dial looks refinished) the strap is a bit .... Nevertheless, its a rose gold Bubbleback. Interesting. Its hard to find them with original crown. Great |

Heirlooms are nice to have and this one seems to be well cared for.
As mentioned, the dial has been redone which is not unusual for early reconditioned pieces.
