Are Rolex 5500 and 14000 Air King dials and hand sets interchangeable

I am considering purchasing a 14000 Air King that needs a redial.
I have a beautiful redial 5500 explorer dial and am trying ascertain if the dial would work in a 14000. Further I would need to purchase an explorer hand set.
This would be a nice watch to use. It would nice.
I have seen a few Air King dials listed on Ebay that say both 5500 and 14000 compatible.
Can anyone shed light on this potential project.
Thanks
Petet

I don't believe they are interchangeable, no.

Why does your 14000 "need a redial"? I would contend that what it may need is a genuine 14000 dial, which is reasonably easy to find.

I have same question. 14010 vs 5500 dial size

Both dials are same size , correct? I am looking for a 5500 dial but see several Precision Dials from 14000 that say 5500.
