It's an Old English term bit of a hang-over from the Indian Raj I guess but everyone in UK gets it. Sorry if a bit of a colloquialism.
From internet: If you describe something or someone as pukka, you mean that they are real or genuine, and of good quality. [British, old-fashioned] ...a pukka English gentleman.

Thank you @TuRo, glad I could (unwillingly) help.
I've kept the originals stashed, including the 7836, so I can revert it whenever I wish to do so. |

Yes - they did - I had one back in the day - a vintage sub that glowed decently enough to be usable ~

Buy a NOS 93150 and wear it across all your vintage sports, much safer ; )

I had entertained the thought of what Bobs would offer me if I wanted to trade it in. The watch is in beautiful shape. Their reply was sorry its not for us. Thats cool so I bought a Rolex sub from one of the members and kept my Tudor. LoL |

It will cost 2K when you find one, but that is a lot cheaper than when a 10-20K vintage falls off your wrist because a .5mm wide 40 year old pin failed while driving - that happened but I was lucky as the watch feel IN to the truck, not outside on the road where I was doing 35.
