Car accidents don't stop Rolex enthusiasts
I was in my office this morning and heard a vehicle slam on the brakes. When I looked out my window I heard a loud bang and saw a pickup truck being lifted off the road. I new it was bad and walked out to the accident. Thankfully, both men (older divers) were unhurt. I asked the one man if he wanted to sit down and noticed he was wearing a DJ and remarked it was a nice looking watch. He took a minute and looked at my watch and then asked to get another look. We spoke of the rise prices and availability the last couple of years. Really nice guy and I hope he isn't hurting too bad tomorrow.

Great 'ride-by' discussion, it's always fun meeting other enthusiasts.

I can see it all now
"Wow are you ok? Looks a broken bone sticking out of your arm!" "Eh, I'm fine - hey is that a BLNR?!" "Yup! Lucky to have a solid relationship with my AD..." "Me too! Just picked up this SS Daytona last week!" Glad the guy was ok |

The accident was bad. I originally just wanted to get him to sit down and talk to me until the police arrived in case he had a concussion that is when I noticed his watch. The police showed up in less than 5 minutes.
