You can also bring back the chamfers on gold and platinum Day-Dates using that method.

One of the best posts I’ve seen on here for quite some time. Thanks!

I love 5 digit Subs and GMT’s. They are the apex of Rolex design. I’m wearing my 16710 while typing this.

Wow! With the five digits the chamfers and the lugs are the details that get wiped out, and yours are looking pretty decent in these pictures after your refurb. Nice work.

Congrats the 16610 is an awesome watch. Have had my M serial since 2009. And looks like you did a great job on the polishing!

Yes this exactly why I won’t let anyone refinish my watches, not even RSC.
There is no need for a polishing wheel, that’s only to remove deep marks but you compromise the lines of the watch if you do so.

It is perfectly easy to tidy up a watch with just rudimentary tools and common sense without compromising it if you keep it the work strictly superficial. You just need to live with deep scratches dents and gouges if they exist, I’d rather a watch with a couple of nicks out a nice sharp shoulder than a rounded off lug.

Congratulations and enjoy. IMO the 16610 is one of the best watches ever made. There isn't much you can't do with it

Congrats! I’m starting to see some great deals on 16610’s and 16710’s from private sellers.

Fantastic work. As noted above, you have some serious skills! I think we can all safely say that *no* one has bonded with their 16610 quite like you have! I get the love, though. I found a beautiful Z-serial 16610 about a year ago, and I'm totally infatuated with it. Thanks for sharing your work. Your watch is thoroughly awesome! Enjoy it to the max.
