Love them but Fun fact - DayDates are one of only a few Rolex you'd have lost money on !
1981 in UK (catalogue in front of me) £1760 on bracelet, £4449 bracelet (bracelet more than watch !) - 41 years on at today's money (*3.91 btw) it's about £19000 it would have cost you and they can be bought for £5k less than that !
Ps 5513 £326, 6265/6263 £404, 1680 £399, 1016 £317, 1665 £426, 16750 £402 oyster/£426 jubillee , 1019 Milgauss £381.

Sorry for slight typo above, the premise is the same though - DD in 81 was £1,760 on (2 supplied) leather straps or £4,449 on concealed clasp bracelet £300 less £4,184 for one on a president bracelet.
