1018 on the way

I'm looking for a correct bracelet and endlinks for this one from 1968.
Or did these only come with leather bands?
The dial is a bit rough so I'm going to try and find a black dial for this one.

I think a 7206 w/ 58 endlinks would be an option, and possibly period correct. But pretty expensive relative to the value of the watch, if that's an issue for you.

hm, it would be nice to have one of those bracelets, expandable preferably.
That would also work for my 1968 GMT I believe.

Expandable would be 6636 IIRC.

So a 6636 with 58's should be good to go on the 1018?

Nice find! I wear mine on straps rather than bracelet, except the one I put sports hands on. For me, bracelet is for sports if SS and otherwise I only like them in PM. Thankfully the 1018 is an original strap monster, goes with everything.

Nice fat case on that one, hope you got a good deal too.

Thanks, this is an ebay purchase, so the lower price brings some risk, hopefully it looks/runs ok.
I agree the 1018's look great on a strap, I'll wear it like that before looking around for a bracelet.

nice pick up. love the dial.

its 19mm lugs right? the later 7835 could potentially work if thats the case. not sure about end links.

These should have 20mm lugs.

I stand corrected, got mixed up with 1002 / 1005 which are a bit smaller.

Then the 7836 could also work.
