Seems we got the most magical pen for brush finished bracelet, but how does it work? it remove some micro particulates from the bracelet's surface?

I know I am reviving an old thread but due to potential safety concerns I thought this should be posted.

I too must admit that I like to have my watches in showroom condition so I obsess over scratches and how to safely remove them. I have browsed many different forums and have read many posts on different techniques that appear to work well.

On another forum someone who was using a similar pen had someone make this comment:

"If that is a fibre glass pen, you really need to wear a filter mask when using it, as the fibres can be inhaled and cause serious problems. As part of our WHMIS training we were specifically warned about the use of these pens and to use protection. They work great, we use them to remove rust from stem and pinions, etc."

Pretty much goes without saying, use a mask and gloves when using this tool, and for that matter, when using polishes or rouges, brasso, cape cods, they all have toxicity to respiratory and dermal fascia...
