I'll play.....
Where to start...
First my 18kt DateJust w/ jubilee band (116238) - uncommon because most prefer the DD as opposed to a gold DJ..... Then my 18kt DateJust w/ leather band (116138).... I would guess even rarer than the 116238.... I would follow this with my Plat. Cellini (5241/6 w/ glacier blue dial - rare because it it is a Cellini, but a great looking watch! and last, my rarest of all... the King Midas (9830).... |

Rolex made the Tri color gold Day Date back in the 80's and are quite rare. White gold cases with the rose, yellow and white gold in the bracelet. I believe they cost about $3k more than a regular gold model at the time so was not a big seller.

I've owned the usual suspects...GMTS, DJs, Subs, Dwellers. This is the only one left standing and my favorite. Uncommon, sleek, versatile, pure Rolex.

Oysterquartz Day-Date, and Cellini Classic
Hi;
These are fairly rare, I think - my Oysterquartz Day-Date 19018, and my Cellini Classic 5115/8: |

Hi,
i'm new here on TRF and started browsing the many owner's pictures. What is the model# and approx. year of this blue Explorer? I fully agree it's a great looking timepiece !! Ralph |
