Hands and pearl look like replacements due to different color of lume.

Case looks thick and may be unpolished, but would need better photos of those chamfers to be more confident.

I believe the crystal should be a top-hat no-date rather than a dome, although the current one works pretty well.

The hour plots aren't as clean as some would like...But a Snowflake is a Snowflake. Genuine ones should be considered if price reflects condition...

Very nice dial and insert. I think this model is much harder to find than a 7021. The dial doesn't seem to have the beloved mottling most are blessed with

Nice pickup Brian. But it is over polished - so I'll take it from you ;)

No - looks great - really - did you get it?

This is the very earliest blue Flake series - it is in the Anthology book. Rare bird.

Totally legit snowflake. First run blue's. Only ones IIRC with the semi-pointed crownguard case.

Third one I've seen.

Tudor 7016/0

I recently brought this Tudor 7016/0 "Swiss Only" dial off a jeweller near Brighton. He had had it for many years locked in his safe (hence the excellent condition) and finally agreed to sell it to me. According to my research, these early snowflakes were transitional pieces and made in the late 1968 to early 1969. They have semi pointed crown guards and made in parallel to and after the small rose dials. The serial numbers start 62 XXXX.

I have only ever managed to find three of these seriously rare Tudor Snowflakes on the internet before and as the correct Tudor history seems very difficult to obtain (unlike Rolex or Omega), it has taken me an age to correctly identify this model.

Looks like we have two if these unusual (and very sweet) first run blue flake no date 7016s. The light is dazzling the crown guards but it looks OK to me

In the photo above with the profile views of the Tudors - do the crown guards look like the middle one?

JR, notice the hand shade is lighter like mine and also the slightly dirty plots...just like mine. My insert is different. My font is a little thicker and i have a serif numbers, whereas the one pictured does not.
