Info and value on a 1960s 1680 "white mark" with 9315 bracelet

Hi all!
My dad recently gave me his date-just submariner that he has had for more than 50 years. He claim he purchased the watch in his late teens from Spain. Its in mint condition and I am just curious what the value and history is on this particular model. Online I am finding tons from the 1970s but its hard to find any info on ones from the 60s. Also his is a date just and it seems most of the watches I see are the non date. This seems to be a white mark model with a 9315 bracelet and 280 markings on the back as well. Would love to know what you guys think about this baby!

There's no such thing as a DateJust Submariner, it's either one or the other. I'm guessing it's a Submariner with a date function, since you say it's a 1680. We don't give valuations here, but if you put up some photos, we can tell you about it.

Mark 1 dial, which seems to be quite common albeit that the watch remains desirable.
