Huge congrats Stephen! That's a wonderful pair. If you have a scale, post 116500LN's weight for reference in the PYRTWW thread. Enjoy them in the best of health.

Congrats! I prefer D500 to D520 because of the legibility of bezel and subdials.

Fantastic watch. I'm 3rd in line at my AD, expecting by year end.
One question, in photographs it appears slightly larger than the outgoing model, is this the case in reality or only the case in pictures?

Congrats fella

Your good omen was short lived I'm afraid, my Daytona didn't arrive or maybe I was beaten to it Not going to take this OT but read here if you are interested
http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=484915

I had the white 116520 which I moved on and as nice as it is your side by side pics has confirmed the white 116500 is everything I wanted the 116520 to be.

Thanks Sam and sorry for your news - it will happen and you'll appreciate even more maybe

Funny thing though I had a little daughter just under two weeks ago and it's an amazing thing. I can't stop smiling

Funny thing is a couple of people have said that - when I first put it on its felt smaller and lighter for some reason, but it isn't, it was just my initial thoughts.

Having now worn it for nearl a day all I can say is STUNNING

Congrads. I purchased my SS back in October 15'. Just leave the clear stickers on and let them come off naturally.

Yes it will and there's nothing I can do so just back to playing the waiting game, on a plus along with yourself I've seen a few more UK incomings so fingers (and toes) crossed it won't be too long. I have put aside an extra 10% just in case we see a price hike! Well when I say put aside I've moved the money into a spare account I the hope to forget about it so it won't hurt

And double congratulations then with the best type of addition

Enjoy every minute they grow so fast! My eldest turned 16 last month and the youngest will be 2 in October.

Oh I know, my eldest is 17 and passed his driving test today

Worst thing though is I was awake half the night worrying about it for him, yet he slept like a log apparently

We both must be mad with the 15 year plus age gap

At the moment the new one but that's because it's been the focus of my attention for the last few months, but long term hard to say as my first was a Grail watch for over a decade and that won't go away easily :-)
