Hello first of all to everyone. I am a GMT Master 16750 owner for the last 20 years, so I am a little biased as to which model is my favorite. Lately I have gotten to where I have been able to buy a few that come through the store I manage. I have researched this watch and realize it is a 77 model as it is a low 5 million serial, but I am having trouble with the dial. I believe it to be a radial dial but not sure if it is a mark IV or V?

The watch needs to be serviced, but otherwise is in great shape and a great find! Values I have also seen all over the place, so any help with that would be wonderful! This is my first vintage watch, and I am excited to learn from you guys!

Hello and welcome to the crazy vintage world! Looks like a nice piece with a Mk3 dial known as a Radial dial. Lugs look good from the pics and the only down side I can see is it looks to have a service insert fitted, no biggie! Nice catch and I have owned two or three early 5 million Radial dial GMT’s.

Its a radial dial. That means MK III.

All MK III are radials. MK IV or MK V radials do not exist....

Oh okay well thanks for the info! Any idea of value? I know this is subjective, but any type of range would be neat to know.

Case is not so good, in particular the crown guards, but radial GMT“s are rare and sought after.

Difficult to judge by those pics. In Europe maybe 17K USD. In USA the same ??

It is a 1977. No box or papers. Otherwise I am shocked at the shape it is in.

Great looking watch with a beautiful dial.

That's a really nice collectable Rolex.
