Rolex datejust 1603 dial
Good evening to all the forumers,
I would like to have some clarifications on a rolex datejust that I was thinking of buying. This is a 1603 with a dial "o" T swiss T "o". I found some information on the web about this "o" (sigma?), what does it refer to? If I have not misunderstood the indexes should be different (in gold and more "bold" shape) from the dials without "o" ... is it true or not? The serial number is 39xxxx. Thank you and best regards. Hi OP, I have a 1603 with a sigma dial and I can confirm that this is the original dial since new because I personally know the full history of ths particular watch since mid 1960s. So yes, 1603 in the 60s could come with sigma dials.

Hi snowklake, could you post a pic of your 1603? I would like to see the indexes on the dial.
Thanks in advance |
