A Deadly AP....

Just an idea...

Imagine, take two of the most desirable and rarest AP, the all black ceramic perpetual and the SS Skeleton double-balance wheel, and combine them.

An all black ceramic Skeleton 41mm. My wishlist for SIHH 2018. What do you guys think? I think I will kill for this watch.

Anyone with great photoshop skills that can do a mock-up? :

That would be one sick watch! Maybe they can get rid of that gold bridge though as well.

A bit rough & ready…
Not convinced it works, even allowing for the inaccuracy of bright highly polished steel rehaut.

Love it! Wow.

Interestingly, I like the look of the gold bridge on the all ceramic mock up. That gold doesn't work for me on the SS.

Would agree I don't like the gold bridge at all. Brings assymetry.

Strangely, that "golden bridge" has started to grow on me. Kind of accentuate the "tourbillon like look"

I have to agree the gold bridge has grown on me too, but can’t help thinking I would of prefered a combination of silver, Rhodium and blued steel look in the dial which would tie in better with the SS (but that me splitting hairs)

Sure the PC has a setting button (or whatever it’s called) on the case side other wise I’d buy both and make them into one... (well until I wake up from my dream)

Perpetual Calendar with Skeletonized movement ... Ahh.. that's another idea. It exist in AP product offerings before.

I will pick the perpetual calendar in steel. Or if I win the lottery, I will go for the PM.

No need for a pseudo tourbillon look – just wait until Girard Perregaux puts their triple bridge tourbillion into the new ceramic Laureato. I suspect it’s only a matter of time… and I wouldn’t put it past them to not throw in the skeleton movement as well.

I was thinking this might not work out so well: the perpetual has a lot more white on indices etc to offset the dark case, but the skeleton is so dark inside that to my eyes it is just too dark.

That literally would be one of the sickest watches. I'm not a HUGE fan of the black, but with a skeleton, it would be awesome lol.

My 2 dream watches. The 15407 and either of the PC's this year (silver or blue dial) in SS. Unfortunately the ceramic is out of my price range. They have some great watches and I'm noticing that the future pieces I wish to aquire are all AP's.

I like the touches of Rose (pink) gold- The bridge and the hour markers. Otherwise I think it would be too monotone. But splitting hairs. It's a gorgeous watch.
