I personally prefer the 88, since I find the 531's ecru lume doesn't work great with the more modern aesthetic of that GMT style. That being said, if you prefer in-house and like the ecru, it's a very cool watch.

Great piece, you will not regret, i had a 88 and i hate the NON SANDWICH dial.

Sorry to ask but what is an ecru lume? Is it the same as "dirty dial" refering to the vintage color of the lume?

Yes, I find "ecru lume" to be the most neutral way to describe it.

That's a beauty, a little less busy than the 88s with the Sandwich dial. Win win IMHO. Wish the price tag was a little more inline with the new 1088. :/
