I'd like to find a company with a long history and strong reputation, not a fly by night new start, as I think I'm gonna have this done for him for his birthday.

With time as a consideration, what's the average turn around time on something like this? Thanks William.

These coatings never last on a watch that is worn regularly. Every corner will be scratched off, then the coating will begin to peel off.

Sand all the metal parts with 400 grit sandpaper, tape off the crystal, and spray paint it flat black. Then bake in an oven at 200 degrees for 2 hours. Repeat process every 30 days.

Uh, not so much. I'm no fan of DLC or PVD on a Rolex but both coatings are amazing and not something that would "peel off" (but you gotta be just joking, right?).

That’s the best I could come up with while driving !

On the way to Maaco, .................. my 488 GTB needs a repaint.

Good choice! My '61 250 GT turned out great, but it was just that standard red color so not a big deal.
