The silver dial 39mm Explorer I and Polar dial Submariner that I dream of them releasing.
I do agree that the White Milgauss will be the one 5 years from now that everyone wishes they had bought now...even if only for the profit. |

i see sub on a regular basic in north America.
i think they are hard to get in the uk, because of tourism and the pound being low, but i could be wrong, people come from the middle east and just buy them a dime a dozen. which watch will go up in value? why are you selling? not sure i am not an expert..but probably the one coming out of bezel 2018..that everyone wants...blue face..or whatever the new trend is at that time. |

A quick look in history will answer for the future!
The 5 digit GMTs are going for crazy prices now and keeps going up by the day So in the future I expect the BLNR to be the next “Pepsi” I’m picking up my crystal ball from the shop tomorrow and will confirm the above lol

Probably the James Cameron assuming at some point it gets discontinued. I had my chance at getting it BNIB with a discount from an AD but it was just too darn big for me. So because I didn’t get it it’s sure to be a winner

Has that ever been particularly popular? I’ve never perceived it as high in demand.

I went to three different ADs in December looking for a No Date Sub and the shortest wait time between them was five weeks. I guess the only good thing is it will feel like Christmas in February.

with BaselWorld coming up, my guess is whatever new they announce at BW18.
Once 2018 production starts back up and there is more supply, there will be a little more sanity in the Rolex world. A few models will be allocation pieces because Rolex just wants to manipulate the market demand. I can't see the Sub ND being one of those. I suspect the poster was looking for one and the sale rep saw a way to create a little demand. |

I'd say white, they've always seemed to command a premium over the black dial.

You know I would have said 3186 Explorer IIs but they really haven't spiked since being discontinued. I mean not like the 3186 GMTs.
White dial Milgauss maybe? Just wasn't very popular and had a short run. |

It'll be one of the new releases that none will be able to order. A repeat of the SkyD and SD price ramps.

I recently bought the new GMTMaster ll - we were very lucky to acquire it as we understand this model is on back order- my model is the black and Blue as compared to The Pepsi— truly love this watch - have stopped wearing all my others ( GP, Brequet)
I frankly never take it off) Robert Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
