Since not everyone has likely found my pics in the gallery section, here are a few.

Icon10 Pendelton Serape Rolex 114060

When i would see photos of the new clasp it look so big and bulky kind of ugly ,once i actually saw it in person it is so much smaller and nice looking,so i put a dime in the photo to compare.

While I can agree that it would have been interesting to see it with a matte dial and domed glass (and I'd prefer plexi over sapphire), I do believe the current version is actually great and not just a mutilated Sub Date. It looks great in the flesh and has a nice presence, less cluttered than the Sub Date. I prefer it over the Sub Date and my impression is that it's off to a better start than the 14060(m) ever was, compared to its date sibling (based on numerous positive comments/reviews around). I love mine.

This is a nice looking watch. I'm really not a big date person. I'm partial to watches without that feature

I love this watch...for the most part I'm not a date fan. This watch has such a nice symmetric look to it

Thanks for the beautiful pics everyone!

I finally saw one a week ago, and tried it on. The first time I have seen it since it came out.
The watch is perfect! I don't like watches that are too big. My wrist is 7.5in which is average, I think, and I am told my 42mm Omega Speedy looks good on it. However, the 40mm Sub looks a lot better to me.
With the Speedy, I crave a smaller watch sometimes. That's where my 36mm Explorer I comes in.
What I really want, though, is a watch that is in between. 40mm is the perfect size. It is an iconic watch, but with all the updates. I think the old bracelet with the hollow center links on the 14060 would have bothered me after a while. Although, not so on the Explorer I as it is a lighter watch.
The Sub no date has now evolved into the perfect mens watch IMO. I can think of nothing else that would improve it. I hope to soon be an owner.
It may well be the last watch that I buy, I feel that confident about it. And I will likely sell the three that I have now to fund it. Without regret if I do so.

Cheers
Carl

Just saw this thread, thought I'd put my boy in the mix. He's a 14060, but I love him as much as you love yours.
