16700 GMT band

A friend of mine recently purchased a 16700 GMT circa 1994 and it came with a 93150 oyster band. Was it possible to get a GMT with this band or were they only available with the 78790? He is trying to determine if it is all original. Thanks!

Thanks for the link

He has the original paperwork, I'm assuming it would say which band the watch came with.

You can also check the code on the bracelet to see if it matches the year of production..

It was an option back then. Likewise the Jubilee bracelet. Happy days.

It was an option, I got my 16700 with this bracelet at the same period, as I wanted the solid links and the extending clasp. So, it is a normal combination.

and with a Jubilee as Adam said. Hello Adam !

.

It was an option for Gmt/Gmt2 and Explorer 2 from 1994 to 1997, just before the apparition of the new (at this time) 78790.
