I would not buy a polished watch without handling it in person. I would prefer unpolished, though a RSC light polish would be acceptable.

How can anyone tell if a watch has been polished or not by looking at it? AFAIK it cannot be done and some Rolex sites won't allow anyone to claim a watch has not been polished. Provenance is the only way I know of. JMHO maverick
