Have to agree and the more expensive the wallet means you will have less to put in it.

I have received a number of questions on how to order from this company. Here is that info.

How to order from Faure Le Page:

According to wife, who ordered for us:

1. Email boutique@faurelepage.com and ask them to send you their catalog, and if you want a specific item ask them about purchasing that and to request the price and color.

2. Give them your shipping address to get shipping cost.

3. Le Page will email you back with a catalog or info on your specific item.

4. When you tell them you are ready to place the order,
request the link to place the order. Then they will give you in an email the secure link for payment via credit card or paypal.

5. You get billed in Euros, your credit card company converts to USD.

6. After the item arrives, you will be billed a customs charge. This is not a VAT. We have not received the customs bill yet. There are no taxes on the purchase, just a customs fee.

7. Le Page uses TNT (like Fedex) to ship.

8. Payment gets processed immediately and depending on timing (time difference), you will get a shipping confirmation via email with tracking info. It takes about 4-5 days for shipment to arrive from France to US (in our case California).

9. Because of the big time difference, there was a lag between email exchanges. Be patient.

10. And they do not always have every item in stock in the color you want, but they will ship once it is in stock if you tell them to notify you when it comes in stock. This happened with the wife's tote. She was on the wait list and it cam in stock in a about a week.

Hope this helps.

I mean it's all about priorities. For men in general there is not that much we have to accessorize. Watches, a gold necklace, nice wallet and wedding ring, etc. I have family that are worth millions of dollars and they think my watches are a waste of money. They spend their money on traveling across the globe rather than material items. If you saw my uncle walking in the street, you would think A) he's broke or B) living paycheck to paycheck, but you would be wrong. It's all relative.

Picked up one of these in steel grey. Claudia at the boutique was very quick to respond via email and extremely helpful and polite. A relative bargain for roughly 250 usd compared to what I've spent at LV or Goyard. Cool history will update when I get it. Thanks john

Excellent. Glad to help. Once Hollywood catches on to this brand, watch out. Right now it is relatively unknown in the US but it does have an interesting and long history.

Best Regards.

I've sent them an email for information on a 6 card wallet (that locutus49 had originally posted) and a bag that I am interested in and will report back on pricing for the wallet once I get it in case others are interested.

Nice!

I emailed them a few hours ago and haven't heard back yet.
Did you email: boutique@faurellepage.com or a different address?

New Luxury Wallet

I have the same wallet, purchased in Paris. I have several wallets from LV, and in comparison, this ranks right up there in terms of durability. I do find that it's a bit softer due to the leather lining inside and wears slightly better. I've had it in my pockets, alternating from front to back at times, and it shows virtually no wear. It's also unique, unlike LV which can be seen often. I highly recommend it!

Question about LV Epi leather. I recently looked at a wallet in Epi at an LV boutique, and it didn't feel like leather to me. It felt like I was holding a canvas material, like what most of their stuff is made of. Is it actually leather? Does it wear well and soften up over time?

I really like the design of the LV James wallet, but would only buy it in Epi as I don't care for the canvas print that screams "I have an LV."

I gather its a printed canvas exterior with leather interior but I have not handled them.

Maybe john can confirm. I think its similar to LV.

Get a Goyard wallet and you have no money left to put into it.

I didn't realize Faure le Page was this popular! Don't want to hijack the OPs thread but should we just turn this into a high-end wallet thread overall? If not, maybe OP wants to start a new thread on the topic..or I can if there's interest. Here's my contribution since Goyard has been mentioned a couple of times.

Very soft (and durable) canvas on outside and leather inside. I do not think they do all leather wallets.

This is my Epi. It looks and feels like very high quality leather to me. But you mileage may vary.:

Give them a day or so between each email to allow for time difference. You sent to correct address. They are probably feeling overwhelmed right now. Best of luck.

Thanks - That was the plan, but when I saw Tom had such a quick response I wanted to verify the address.

Sorry for the delayed response! Yes that's the address! They close at 7pm so that's 1pm EST.

Service was excellent I imagine you'll hear back first thing tomorrow which will be quite early or quite late tonight depending on how you figure lol

Shipping while not cheap is quick. I'm expecting the wallet Wednesday delivered to NY.

John should be getting a commission check
