Think maybe we'll see the Rolex Oysterflex bracelet on a Sub?

Red isn't practical for diving, it turns into blue after a relatively shallow depth. Defeats the purpose of being a tool watch.

Reds the first colour to drop off the colour spectrum when diving but looks cool in green then blue

Knowing the model of the watch hardly relevant 10m under water.

With the red just being the Sub writing it wouldn’t make too much difference. Don’t think anyone who actually did dive to any great depth would be worried about reading the word Submariner on their watch whilst at that depth.

Still a cool looking watch though don’t you think ??

Yes it is. That little touch of red was a design element in the 1980s. You can see it, e.g., on the Nikon F3 as well as on some models of Volkswagen Jetta door moldings from the same era. It can provide a very nice visual. Props to Rolex for using it so early, even if it really works only out of the water. That's where most subs live.

Definitely a cool concept, but wouldn’t this be too similar to the SD 43? I am really hoping we get a 41mm sub with slightly more tapered lugs. Of course, I would really like having a new sub with a navy ceramic bezel and a dial similar to the JC SD sans green writing.

The Navy Ceramic bezel sounds interesting and something that I would actually like to see.
Unfortunately though, I don't think Rolex will ever put green text on a Sub... but I like your thinking..

Now this is an interesting suggestion. Rolex has developed and currently offers both annual calendar movements (Sky Dweller) and moonphase ones (Cellini).
They do have the capacity, know how etc to bring something like this or close to this some time in the future.

This one keeps cropping up and would be the only one I would be interested in getting.

That is of course unless some fantastic new model appears that no one has thought of. Lol

I think you’re right.....and why would a PT Sub come out now? I would think Rolex would introduce that as an anniversary model, or another special reason for that edition.

I was under the impression it was pictured to be a red version of the LV, bezel and all. Obviously just the model text wouldn't matter for diving

Everose Gold GMT II All Brown Dial & Bezel, Maybe Everose/SS Brown Dial & Rootbeer Bezel

No Date Sub w/ 3-6-9 Dial

New Cellini Model = Ref. 6062 X Current Cellini Moonphase.....if so maybe in 2019 an Auto Killy in PMs then in 2020 in SS

It’s anyones guess. There are plenty of members on this forum w/ the means to purchase what would most likely be north of an 80k PT Sub. I would most likely purchase one!
